Skydance Brewing Company is Oklahoma’s Native American craft brewery. Founded in 2018, Skydance is Oklahoma City’s first brewery to be majority Native Owned. Our co-founder, CEO and head of brewing, Jake Keyes, is a citizen of the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma. In 2023 Jake was elected as the Chairman of the Iowa Tribe. Jake is also a descendent of The Osage Nation and The Otoe-Missouria Tribe. Jake’s wife, Bobbi Keyes, is a citizen of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.

Our story begins when Jake learned to brew beer from his father at a very young age. That shared passion sparked a dream to open a brewery with his dad that would remain just a dream for decades. After the untimely death of his father, Jake realized we are never promised tomorrow and he became determined to chase that dream.

Today Skydance is not only a fulfillment of that dream, but also serves as a source of representation for inspiring Indigenous entrepreneurs. Jake & Bobbi’s Native American culture shapes everything the brewery does. In most cases, Skydance is the only Native American product on the shelves of the largest retailers in Oklahoma, including Walmart and other retail chains.

Skydance has evolved from a small taproom serving beer and wine, to a multi-location business with location number 2 opening in Midwest City in the spring of 2026. In the summer of 2026 Skydance expanded it’s Oklahoma City location to include a food menu and cocktail program while also doubling it’s seating capacity with a new Eagle’s Nest space and atrium.

In 2027 Skydance will open a third location inside the Apache Casino & Hotel. Skydance will operate a brewery, restaurant, bar, quick service grill and cocktail service for the gaming facility.
